Minimizing Risk

Managing risk is critical to the safety of a homeowner as well as protecting them from any bylaw infractions and legal repercussions. Unfortunately with the onset of do it yourself home renovation reality tv this has caused people to believe they can easily renovate their own home and save a lot of money. Unfortunately this belief has backfired on several people resulting in the city ordering them to remove work they have completed due to not having a permit. Other issues that can impact a homeowner in doing the work themselves can result in legal action by the city or a neighbour. A project manager will take measures to ensure that any and all foreseen risks are eliminated by ensuring the renovation is done legally.
